I am sad to say that Ruth has lost her battle with cancer today. She is now at peace. We will miss her very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ruth Family and especially her Daughter Alex. For those of you who want to do something, Marie and Nancy will be setting up a college fund for Alex. As soon as information on that is available I will pass it along. These portraits are a celebration of her life, in her last year with family and friends. The most recent are the probably the last to be taken of Ruth just a week ago. Rest in peace Ruth..

Senior Road trip
Arial, Amanda and Kat, along with Angie D (Photographer friend of mine) and myself, headed out for a HS Senior road trip (photo shoot) on Sunday. After stopping at a hidden location, we headed to the Glass Museum.
Arial is a rep for Fife HS this year. Amanda is also in the class of 2009. Kat will be a rep with me next year at Fife HS.
It was so windy in Tacoma, which dropped the temp about 10 more degrees. The girls were trooper and stuck is out, until all of our hands were frozen!!!

Ways to display your Portraits
Happy Friday. I hope that you are enjoying this beautiful sunshine! I wanted to share with you a few ways to display your photographs. I often guide my customer on some ways to display their images. These two customer had their own ideas in mind (Karen and Kelli).

Kelli's displays at her wedding were amazing. These were done using her engagement portraits that we did awhile back. Great job Kelli. You get credit for the awesome job that you did. The use of the Black and White and how you tied the image into your theme was brilliant.

She appropriately called it the "Museum of Kelli and Casey".Wednesday, March 4, 2009
Brenda & Jacob's Engagement
Brenda and Jacob will be married on July 18th 2009. When we talked about where they would like to have their portraits done, they had expressed wanting some greenery and old buildings. So we headed to UDUB Tacoma. It's becoming increasingly popular among the local Photographers (amateur and pro). We worked around them to create these wonderful portraits. Their are so many unique angles, lines and perspectives here. We had a great time working together and capturing these portraits.

Sierra Rose is ONE...............
Sierra Rose (my Niece) turned one in Feb. She has been walking since about 9.5 months old. I think she actually skipped crawling and walking and went straight to running. It's so fun to watch her when she tries to mimic her Big Sister Sydney and her Big Cousin Morgan (whom are 7 and 8). Sierra has the best blue eyes that just really stand out in her pictures. You'll see that here. She liked to play peek a boo and chase kitties (run kitty, run)! The best part of taking one year pics, is the old fashioned white wicker chair. Kids LOVE it and it help to keep them in one place. Oh, that and rocks.
