Carli & Marshal have tied the Knot!!!!!

Carli & Marshal were married on April 25, 2009 at the Seattle Temple. It was a lovely day (a little windy, but no problem!!!) They are absolutely adorable. You can see how their eyes light up when they look at each other. They day was perfect and many of their Family and Friends came to out celebrate with them. What a delightful group to work with. I was so comfortable each moment of this day. Everyone made me feel welcome and proud to be part of Carli & Marshal's special day. Thanks again for choosing me and I can't wait to work with you all again.

Michael's Graduation Pics

Michael was up for anything. What he has made me realize is that my competition is REALLY up and coming. Kids are learning early on what had taken me years to accomplish. Photoshop is no longer a "What" word. I think it's great that digital photography is here and to stay. I have had many HS Seniors this year ask if I can do "this" and "that" in Photoshop!! Back in my day of Photography class in HS, it didn't get any better than MS publisher for making postcards and flyers. Also, what you took in the camera is what you got!!! Michael and his family were a joy to work with. His Dad (also Mike) had a 101 lesson in how to hold my reflector. Thanks for doing a great job. Good luck with your Quad racing!!! & Thanks for choosing me.

Wow, Bryce is already 6 months old!!

I LOVE this family. I have been with them since Mom & Dad said "I do". Now here we have baby Bryce. He just turned 6 months old. What a sweet, happy, precious little boy. I look at his images over and over and go Ohhhhhhh, how darn cute, cute, cute and did I say cute!!!!! I got to take these portraits and how lucky I am.
So how do you keep a toddler, 2 doggies and a 6 month old still for one shot?? As you can see below, we got 3 of them. Future reference, do that portrait first :)

Sleepy baby.

I think it's time for a lunch break!!

AND THE WINNERS ARE:

Before I announce them, I wanted to tell you why I love my job. I have been in the Photography Industry for quite some time and well trained to help you look your best in your photographs. No matter what wonderful stage in your life you are in, I can help. So I was telling my Daughter how important it is to eat Fruits and Vegetables every day (to help with these wonderful stages). I said "It will help to keep your skin looking youthful and healthy". She says to me "Mom, it did not work for you!” Gotta love Children’s honesty and Photoshop!!!!

Thank you Morgan for being my Vanna White!

The winners of a $125.00 Gift cards from Render's Photography are-

Dana Barrett

Kiersten Cavner

Cathie Rohleder

Please e-mail me your address and I’ll send your gift cards right out!!!

Engagement Session- Rachel & Brooks

Rachel and Brooks were playful and a joy to work with. I got to capture their spirits and smiles that they bring out in eachother. I kept snapping those portraits at just the right time. Speaking of the right time, once again we were dodging falling poo from the trees. What is with me and the birds this year. Sorry to all of you that have been hit by "you know what". The trees are finally covered with leaves. I'll make sure to put you under those ones. Rachel and Brooks will be getting married July 10, 2009 on a cruise boat. This will be fun.

Heather is Graduating!!!

It's Heather time. I laughed a lot during this session. Heather is a breath of fresh air. She makes you giggle and smile when you are around her. I was pleasantly surprised when she brought her dog with. He looks like a puppy but is 2 years old. I just wanted to take him home. It sounds like he goes everywhere with her, so how cool was it to have him in her Senior pictures. Thanks for a great session!!
